As you may or may not know, I am moving to Toronto rather soon to go to the Ontario College of Art and Design University (Stupid name, I know). So naturally, I’ve been packing things and sorting out all my years of accumulated junk. Which just so happened to include a box of old cassette tapes. I was about to throw them out when I opened a few just to mess around with a piece of vintage (jeeze I am old) equipment. Know what I found? That the cassette tape cases opens up to form a perfect business card holder! Yes, you read correctly, when you open the case all the way, you can slide your cards in where the tap would sit, and presto! You have a really cool, retro , not to mention cheap, business card holder. So next time you go to Staples to find yourself a shiny new stand for your business cards or any other small things somewhat card shaped, simply rummage through your old junk (or your parent’s old junk) and grab a couple cassettes!
